When
I dove over the side of that airplane into the water which was covered
with burning fuel I had a perfect mental picture of this page out
of an old training manual, which I had not looked at for at least
fifteen years.
I can't remember a word on there except Swimming
Through Fire. I have a lousy memory. But I remember
the picture of the breaststroke, knocking
away the flames to get a breath of air. If I had taken one gulp
of flames, I would never have survived. That one page saved my life.
Read all the horror publications you
can. One page might save your life.
